What we observe
Aerobiological interpretation starts with a clearly defined particle, process, instrument or model output. The definition determines what can be compared.
How it is measured
The method must document instrument, flow or resolution, time interval, processing, quality control and unit. Without metadata, a number loses much of its meaning.
How it is interpreted
A temporal or spatial association does not prove a mechanism. Concentration, exposure, biological effect, clinical risk and individual decisions should remain distinct.
Common limitation
Taxonomic, spatial or temporal resolution may hide important variability. PollenTotal presents limits beside figures and always links the source.
